On this occasion, the Blanca Soto Gallery wants to present a specific project curated by Blanca Soto for the Santander Art Fair 2015 based on two of her artists, Ruth Quirce and Manuel Saro, Spanish, from Santander.

These are two artists who formally work in a very similar line, but with very different plot contents. The geometric aesthetic of both may be reminiscent of that of the early and mid-20th century, but what makes this aesthetic interesting is its recovery with arguments linked to the present, transferring it directly to the 21st century.

The presentation of this project to ArteSantander2015, tries to be a link between the works of two artists, at the same time a couple in life, and it is surprising that from the origin of their production they work with geometric results so close but at the same time so distant. in his argument; Quirce shapes elements such as light through the stroke of geometry, and works the tension between chaos and order through the concept "Entropy", and Saro introduces social and political content through his compositions.

The works that both artists present for the Fair are newly produced.
